Paloma Bakchellian
Acrylic and paper on canvas

52 x 75 in. (132.9 x 190 cm)

Paloma Bakchellian is an abstract painter that works primarily on large canvases and paper. She combines these two materials which she finds widely different, to create contrasts between carefully torn pieces of paper and the spontaneous but controlled strokes that occur on the canvas, creating vertically-drawn abstract landscapes. Paloma lives and works on the East End of Long Island, NY after moving full time to the US from Argentina in 2021. Her studio is located in the woods of Sag Harbor. She graduated from Regina Pacis Art School in her home town of San Isidro in 2016. She has participated in various group shows since 2010. Her works are in numerous private art collections in the US, Mexico, Buenos Aires, and Australia.
